While most of my quilts are art quilts, I have also been making smaller (28in sq) quilts for our local Neonate unit. This is a great size to practice my piecing and free motion quilting. It is also a great organisation to support.
The pattern for this quilt is a slightly larger version of Mod mosaic floor pillow by Elizabeth Hartman. Great for using up all those odd sized scraps. I didn't really cut and piece those tiny pieces - they just get trimmed alot.
